News Decoder cannot issue tax receipts for donations made to us directly. U.S. donors are eligible to receive a tax receipt for their donation by contributing to the American Friends of News Decoder at the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS). For further information on how to donate via KBFUS, please refer to the section below.
U.S. donors seeking a tax receipt
U.S. donors who would like to make a tax-beneficial donation can contribute to the American Friends of News Decoder at the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS). KBFUS is a public charity under Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code and is News Decoder’s approved fiscal sponsor.
To make a contribution through KBFUS, please proceed as follows:
- Gifts by credit card: Go to the KBFUS News Decoder page and click on the ‘Donate’ button.
- Gifts by check: Write your check to KBFUS, write “Nouvelles-Découvertes” in the memo section of the check, and send it to KBFUS, 10 Rockefeller Plaza, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10020. Please enclose with the check a completed and signed copy of the following form.
- Gifts by wire transfer or to contribute other types of property: Contact KBFUS by email at: info@kbfus.org or by phone at: +1 212-713-7660.
After you donate, KBFUS will send you an acknowledgement that you should retain for your records.
