Webinar: A conversation post-Parkland

Students and faculty at News-Decoder’s partner institutions will be able to ask questions of a student and faculty member from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School of Parkland, Florida during this exclusive webinar.
Dara Rosen, a staff writer at the school’s newspaper, and faculty member Melissa Falkowski will speak about the mass shooting at the school last February and the publication’s coverage with The Guardian newspaper of a demonstration in Washington to promote gun control.
Students and faculty from La Jolla Country Day School in California will join Rosen, Falkowski and News-Decoder founder Nelson Graves on camera during this 45-minute webinar.
Students and faculty at all News-Decoder institutions are invited to view the online session and will be able to ask questions and make comments using a private chat room.
